    En el presente artículo analizamos el film La Chinoise de Jean-Luc Godard desde una perspectiva histórica. Mayo de 1968 supone un punto culminante en la transición a un nuevo paradigma cultural occidental, concretamente en la vida cotidiana y las costumbres. Godard anuncia en su film elementos que serán característicos del movi- miento y recoge numerosos referentes teórico-artísticos que supondrá el germen del nuevo estilo postmoderno.

    In this article we analyse Jean-Luc Godard's film La Chinoise from a historical perspective. May 1968 was a high point in the transition to a new Western cultural paradigm, specifically in everyday life and customs. Godard announces in his film elements that will be characteristic of the movement and gathers numerous theoretical- artistic references that will be the germ of the new postmodern style.
