Análisis de las revistas iberoamericanas de Psicología y de Educación indexadas en el Journal Citation Reports del 2015

    El objetivo del presente estudio es conocer la situación de las revistas iberoamericanas de Psicología y Educación indexadas en la Colección principal de Web of Science (WoS) y en el Journal Citation Reports (JCR) del 2015, a través de indicadores bibliométricos como son: el Factor de Impacto (FI) de 2015, en los últimos 5 años y su evolución completa), categoría y cuartil, el Índice de Inmediatez, el Índice h, Índice g, media de citas por artículo, total de citas, año de indexación de la revista en la WoS y el número de países de procedencia de los autores. Se analizaron 29 revistas iberoamericanas de Psicología (20) y Educación (9) indexadas en el JCR del 2015, donde el país con más revistas indexadas es España (12 de Psicología y 7 de Educación). En Psicología no hay revistas indexadas en el primer cuartil y la que mejor FI tiene es International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology (2,217). En Educación, la revista Comunicar es la única indexada en el primer cuartil y la que tiene mejor FI (1,438), mayor índice h (14), mayor índice g (18), mayor FI de los últimos 5 años (1,210) y el mayor Índice de Inmediatez (0,475).

    The aim of this study is to determine the situation of Ibero-American journals of Psychology and Education indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection and in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) of 2015, through bibliometric indicators such as: Impact Factor (of 2015, of the last 5 years, and their progression), position and quartile of each journal in its category, Immediacy Index, h Index, g Index, mean citations per article, total citations, indexing year of the WoS and author's country of origin. A total of 29 journals from both disciplines were analized (20 of Psychology and 9 of Education) indexed in the JCR 2015, where Spain is the country with the highest number of indexed journals (12 of Psychology and 7 of Education).

    There are no Psychology journals indexed in the first quartile, and the journal with the highest IF is International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology (2.217). For Education Journals, Comunicar is the only one inedexed in the first quartile and has the highest IF (1.438), highest h index (14), highest g index (18), highest IF of the last 5 years, and highest Immediacy Index (0.475).
