El autor, -retomando los conceptos históricos psicoanalíticos del complejo de Edipo, fase fálica, etapa de latencia y envidia del pene y, relacionándolos con las aportaciones de W. Reich,- presenta algunos aspectos novedosos desde la investigación de la autorregulación infantil y la praxis clínica de la vegetoterapia caracteroanalítica, como el concepto de Edipo-positivo referencial; la diferenciación anatómica sexual en la fase oral.

The main goal of this study is to evalute the intergenerational relationships between grand parents and their grandchildren, from the point of view of the grandparents.
There are three results obtained after the aplication of a measure tool to a group of 148 peoplo of both sex who have grandchildren. The results show how there is a high degree of satisfaction in the grandparents related to his relationship with his grandchildren, and the influence that sorne variables, sich as age, sex, place of living, civil state, economic income and health have in this relation.
