La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo proporcionar información acerca de la relación entre fuerza yoica y dominancia (escalas complementarias del Inventario Multifacético de la Universidad de Minnesota - 2) con los estudiantes universitarios que trabajan medio tiempo en comparación con quienes estudian tiempo completo, para proporcionar información a futuras investigaciones y a todas aquellas organizaciones interesadas en la contratación de estudiantes universitarios. El estudio es no experimental, descriptivo-transversal. Participaron 62 estudiantes de ambos sexos de diferentes universidades, de los cuales, 31 trabajaban medio tiempo y 31 sólo estudiaban. Quienes obtuvieron una media más alta fueron los que estudiaban y trabajaban, aunque no hubo diferencias significativas entre ambos grupos.
The propose of the present investigation is to give information about the relation between ego strength and dominance (complementarian scales of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2) that the full time college students have in comparison with the students that also have a part-time work; with the purpose of provide information to future investigations and organizations that are interested in hiring college students.
It’s a non- experimental study, it is also a descriptive- cross- sectional. The participants were 62 students of both sex of different universities, 32 of them were part-time workers and 30 were full time students. The students that had better punctuations were the ones that study and have a part- time job, but the differences weren’t significant between both groups.
