The research was characterized as exploratory and descriptive, utilizing a bibliographic and documentary approach, as well as the application of questionnaires to teachers. The analysis included the school's PPP, the Municipal Curriculum Proposals, and the context of the school community. The theoretical framework encompassed authors such as Caldart (2015), Ribeiro (2012), and Saviani (2013). The results indicated that, although the school served peasant families, the pedagogical practice and official documents did not fully incorporate the concept of Rural Education, which limited critical formation and the appreciation of local knowledge.
