Resumen: La sobreprotección familiar es el exceso de cuidado y/o protección de los hijos e hijas por parte de los padres y madres. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la influencia de la sobreprotección familiar en el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales en niños de educación inicial de 4 años. El diseño fue cualitativo de tipo descriptivo no experimental en base al método PRISMA de revisión sistemática, para la búsqueda minuciosa de información se utilizó palabras claves en base científica de acceso abierto como: REDALYC, SCIELO, BASE, DIALNET, Y GOOGLE ACADÉMICO realizando una búsqueda general, filtrado, cribado, cribado definitivo, cuyo resultado fue 25 unidades de análisis representados en diagramas y tablas. Los resultados de la revisión sistemática indicaron que el tema de investigación es de gran interés en otros países, los que facilitaron contribuciones relevantes que evidenciaron que existe un mayor índice de padres sobreprotectores que satisfacen deseos y necesidades de sus hijos. Se concluyó que es necesario proponer la aplicación de estrategias lúdicas que puedan ser empleadas dentro y fuera de la institución educativa, que permitan el desarrollo de habilidades sociales en niños y niñas de inicial.
Abstract: Family overprotection is the excess of care and/or protection of sons and daughters by fathers and mothers. The objective of this research was to analyze the influence of family overprotection on the development of social skills in 4-year-old initial education children. The design was qualitative, descriptive, non-experimental based on the PRISMA method of systematic review. For the thorough search of information, keywords were used in open access scientific databases such as: REDALYC, SCIELO, BASE, DIALNET, AND GOOGLE ACADEMICO, performing a search. general, filtering, screening, definitive screening, the result of which was 25 units of analysis represented in diagrams and tables. The results of the systematic review indicated that the research topic is of great interest in other countries, which provided relevant contributions that showed that there is a higher rate of overprotective parents who satisfy their children’s desires and needs. It was concluded that it is necessary to propose the application of recreational strategies that can be used inside and outside the educational institution, which allow the development of social skills in preschool boys and girls.
