Este trabajo realiza una breve revisión bibliográfica para articular teóricamente un caso clínico desde la perspectiva del psicoanálisis de escuela francesa. El objetivo principal es desentrañar las posibles causas del abandono abrupto del tratamiento psicoanalítico. Se espera que sea de interés y que favorezca el debate entre colegas que se desempeñen en el área clínica. Se discuten ideas como la resistencia, el acting out y la transferencia, explorando su relevancia en el proceso terapéutico. Además, se analiza el papel de las interpretaciones del terapeuta y su relación con el establecimiento de la transferencia. Se plantea la importancia de comprender el momento oportuno para intervenir (timing) y la necesidad de evitar interpretaciones prematuras que puedan interferir con el proceso terapéutico.
This paper conducts a brief literature review to theoretically articulate a clinical case from the perspective of French psychoanalytic school. The main objective is to unravel the possible causes of the abrupt abandonment of psychoanalytic treatment. It is expected to be of interest and matter of debate to colleagues working in the clinical field. Ideas such as resistance, acting out, and transference are discussed, exploring their relevance in the therapeutic process. Furthermore, the role of therapist interpretations and their relationship with the establishment of transference is analyzed. The importance of understanding the opportune moment to intervene (timing) and the need to avoid premature interpretations that may interfere with the therapeutic process are emphasized.
