Este artículo realiza una comparación entre el rol del director de Teatro espontáneo y el rol del director de Psicodrama, en relación al abordaje de la escena. Toma como punto de partida la historia y el origen de ambos métodos, situando el Teatro espontáneo como antecedente del Psicodrama. A partir de entrevistas a referentes en el área, se los caracteriza en sus diferencias fundamentales. Aquí se considera la escena como eje en el que se estructuran tanto el Teatro espontáneo como el Psicodrama. Y se detallan sus similitudes y diferencias para analizar y comprender el rol de la dirección en su abordaje.
This article makes a comparison between the role of the director in Spontaneous Theater and the role of the director in Psychodrama, in relation to their approach to the scene. It takes as a starting point the history and the origin of both methods, placing Spontaneous Theater as an antecedent of Psychodrama. From interviews with eminent practitioners in the area, we identify the fundamental differences between the two disciplines. The scene is considered as the axis on which both Spontaneous Theater and Psychodrama are structured. The similarities and differences in the treatment of the scene are detailed in order to analyze and better understand the role of the director.
