El buen trato requiere de instrumentos válidos y confiables para su medicion. Objetivo: Analizar propiedades psicométricas de validez e invarianza de la Escala de buen trato en docentes (EBTD). Método: Con muestreo de 411 docentes de diez escuelas secundarias mexicanas, se aplicó la EBTD de 102 reactivos con cinco opciones de respuesta. Con STATA 18 se realizaron estadísticos descriptivos, análisis factorial exploratorio (AFE), confirmatorio (AFC) e invarianza por sexo. Resultados: Se obtuvo solución de 75 ítems en cuatro factores que explican 76.05% de la varianza, alfas de .86 a .96. Del AFC resultó un modelo de 20 ítems con excelentes índices de ajuste (X2/gl=1.66, SRMR=.042, CFI=.973, RMSEA=.041); validez y fiabilidad (CR de .81 a .90. AVE de .46 a .80), identificando indicadores de invarianza configural, métrica y fuerte por sexo. Discusión: La EBTD es válida y confiable con excelentes propiedades psicométricas.
Good treatment requires valid and reliable instruments for its measurement. Aim: To analyze the psychometric properties of validity and invariance of the Teacher Well-being Scale (EBTD). Method: With a sample of 411 teachers from ten Mexican secondary schools, the EBTD was administered with 102 items and five response options. Descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and invariance by sex were performed with STATA 18. Results: A solution was obtained for 75 items in four factors explaining 76.05% of the variance, with alphas ranging from .86 to .96. The CFA resulted in a 20-item model with excellent fit indices (X2/gl=1.66, SRMR=.042, CFI=.973, RMSEA=.041); validity and reliability (CR from .81 to .90. AVE from .46 to .80), identifying indicators of configural, metric and strong invariance by sex. Discussion: The EBTD is valid and reliable with excellent psychometric properties.
