Para responder a la pregunta ¿qué es la investigación en Psicología Educacional?, en este trabajo se propone considerar diversos aspectos: lo que ha sido, lo que puede llegar a ser; los tipos de conocimientos que puede generar; los paradigmas en uso y los intereses rectores del conocimiento que los sustentan; los agentes de la actividad generadora y algunos requerimientos para desarrollar investigación de calidad.
¿What is the research in Educational Psychology? In order to answer this question, the present paper suggest considering diverse aspects, such as: what the research in Educational Psychology has been; what its potential is; the kinds of knowledge that it could generate; the paradigms in use and the knowledge of guiding interests that suport them. Further, the agents of the generating activity and some requirements to develop quality research.
