La presencia de los símbolos religiosos en lugares públicos es un asunto controvertido y, a veces, muy polémico.
El presente trabajo pretende abordar un acercamiento a la cuestión del uso de símbolos religiosos en nuestra sociedad multicultural, como expresión del derecho de libertad religiosa, en los espacios educativos públicos en el Estado Laico Español. Se procurará dar un conjunto de cuestiones eficientes en relación a la diversidad de símbolos religiosos en el ámbito educativo público en nuestra sociedad cada vez más plural y heterogénea. Para empezar, analizaremos la normativa existente en el marco de las instituciones educativas públicas que se desprenden del Derecho español en torno a esta cuestión. Acto seguido, se definirá el término del símbolo y se realizará la diferenciación entre varios símbolos culturales y religiosos, dinámicos y estáticos. Finalmente, una vez analizados estos ámbitos y con lo que ellos nos ilustren, centraremos el objetivo de este estudio que es la presencia de símbolos religiosos en los centros educativos públicos y su problemática.
The presence of religious symbols in public places is a controversial and sometimes very controversial issue.
This work aims to address an approach to the issue of the use of religious symbols in our multicultural society, as an expression of the right to religious freedom, in public educational spaces in the Spanish Secular State. An attempt will be made to provide a set of efficient questions in relation to the diversity of religious symbols in the public educational sphere in our increasingly plural and heterogeneous society. To begin, we will analyze the existing regulations within the framework of public educational institutions that arise from Spanish Law regarding this issue. Next, the term of the symbol will be defined and the differentiation will be made between various dynamic and static cultural and religious symbols. Finally, once we have analyzed these areas and with what they illustrate to us, we will focus the objective of this study, which is the presence of religious symbols in public educational centers and their problems.
