    Se ha estudiado la relación entre el efecto de compatibilidad de la respuesta y el efecto Simon. Ambos fenómenos, en principio, se supone que inciden sobre la etapa de respuesta en el procesamiento de la información. El efecto de compatibilidad de la respuesta se ha obtenido al utilizar una tarea visual de flancos, mientras que el efecto Simon se ha provocado al incluir en el experimento un estímulo auditivo solapado con la respuesta a la tarea visual. El objetivo principal del trabajo es conocer la relación entre ambos efectos. Los resultados muestran que hay interacción entre ambos fenómenos, lo que en principio, sugiere la existencia de un mecanismo común subyacente de activación

    Relationship between the response compatibility and the Simon effects. The relationship between the response compatibility and Simon effects has been studied. It is assumed that both phenomena affects, in principle, the response stage in the human information processing. The response compatibility effect has been obtained using a visual flanker task while the Simon effect has been carried out including an auditory stimulus overlapping with the response to the visual task. The main goal of this work is to study the relationship between both effects. The results show an interaction between them suggesting an underlying common mechanism of activation
