Durante las secuencias analizadas de La Notte (1961) de Michelangelo Antonioni describiremos las relaciones que se establecen entre la emergencia del deseo y el alcohol. Observaremos en el análisis del film que la cons- trucción del deseo será imposible ya que va ligado inseparablemente a la agonía, tanto física como metafórica, ante la que los personajes protagonistas irán rindiéndose sin remedio. El alcohol estará íntimamente ligado a este deseo terminal, representado en diferentes momentos que analizaremos.
During the analysed sequences of Michelangelo Antonioni's La Notte (1961) we will describe the relationships established between the emergence of desire and alcohol. In the analysis of the film, we will observe that the construction of desire will be impossible since it is inseparably linked to agony, both physical and metaphorical, to which the main characters will succumb without remedy. Alcohol will be intimately linked to this last desire, represented in different moments that we will analyse.
