Resumen: El presente artículo tiene por objetivo realizar una revisión bibliográfica para reflexionar sobre la necesidad de abordar la relación entre psicología, lenguaje y cultura, la cual ha sido ignorada en múltiples ocasiones des de las ciencias psicológicas. Para ello se profundiza sobre tres aproximaciones teóricas que han podido ayudar a promover una aproximación sobre las relaciones expuestas: el relativismo lingüístico, el construccionismo social y la construcción socio-histórica. Del mismo modo, esta publicación también intenta poner de manifiesto la importancia de los parámetros culturales en cualquier aproximación psicológica, viendo como esta inclusión ha sido rechazada sistemáticamente debido a la influencia de la epistemología positivista.
The aim of this article is to establish a bibliographic review to reflect on the need to address the relationship between psychology, language and culture, which has been ignored on multiple occasions from the psychological sciences. To this end, it delves into three theoretical approaches that have been able to promote an approximation on the relationships exposed: linguistic relativism and social constructionism. Furthermore, this publication also seeks to highlight the importance of cultural parameters in any psychological approach, seeing how this inclusion has been systematically rejected due to the influence of positivist epistemology.
