En el presente estudio queríamos conocer el impacto de la cuarentena en un niño con síndrome de Prader-Willi y su entorno familiar. Se recopilaron datos demográficos para obtener información sobre el niño y su familia. A mitad de la cuarentena se administraron los cuestionarios Kidscreen, PSS, 6-PAQ y una escala de resiliencia para obtener información cuantitativa. También se administró el Examen de Afecto en Cuarentena en Niños y las Estrategias Familiares para la Cuarentena para tener información cualitativa. Estos dos últimos se repitieron al comienzo de la desescalada. Finalmente, se realizó una entrevista para obtener datos cualitativos sobre los diferentes entornos de la vida del niño. A partir de estos instrumentos se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: valoración positiva de la calidad de vida, muy alta resiliencia, bajo estrés parental, baja inflexibilidad, algunas dificultades en el mantenimiento de los hábitos alimentarios y posteriormente también en el mantenimiento de los hábitos de sueño y algunas estrategias como el mantenimiento de rutinas. se pusieron en práctica y luego se agregaron más, como juegos de hermanos.Este estudio podría servir para tener en cuenta todo lo que implica tener una discapacidad, y más concretamente el síndrome de Prader-Willi, durante una pandemia como la del covid-19, y el encierro que provoca.
In the present study we wanted to know the impact of quarantine on a child withPrader-Willi syndrome and his family environment. Demographic data were collected to obtaininformation about the child and his family. Halfway through the quarantine, the Kidscreen, PSS,6-PAQ questionnaires and a resilience scale were administered to obtain quantitativeinformation. The Quarantine Affection Screening in Children and the Family Strategies forQuarantine were also administered to have qualitative information. These last two were repeatedat the beginning of the de-escalation. Finally, an interview was conducted to obtain qualitativedata on the different environments of the child's life.From these instruments, the following results were obtained: a positive assessment ofquality of life, very high resilience, low parental stress, low inflexibility, some difficulties inmaintaining eating habits and later also in maintaining sleep habits and some strategies such asmaintaining routines were put into practice and later more were added, such as sibling games.This study could serve to take into account everything that implies having a disability,and more specifically Prader-Willi syndrome, during a pandemic like the covid-19, and theconfinement caused by it.
