En esta comunicación nos hemos propuesto reflexionar sobre el abordaje psicoterapéutico que podemos realizar cuando intervenimos en la primera infancia desde la red pública, y específicamente, nos referiremos a aquellos casos que presentan una sintomatología que compromete severamente el desarrollo emocional y psíquico del niño/a, y en los que observamos que ha habido fallas en el vínculo con el objeto primario. Donald Winnicott, propuso tres funciones maternas primordiales para el desarrollo emocional del bebé: holding, handling y presentación de objeto. La función de holding, en la que me centraré en este trabajo, consiste en sostener, amparar y contener al bebé. Esta función, permite la integración psíquica del niño/a y la experiencia del sentimiento de seguridad y confianza básica, y es una tarea espontanea de una madre de devoción corriente, como dice Winnicott. Este concepto pensado en la relación o díada madre-bebé también se puede extrapolar a otro tipo de relación, como por ejemplo entre la familia y el contexto social en el que existe.
In this work my purpose is to think about the psychotherapeutic approach that we take when we intervene in early childhood from the public network, and specifically, I will refer to those cases which present symptoms that severely compromises the children emotional and psychological development, and where we observe that there have been failures in the link with the primary object. Donald Winnicott, established three main maternal functions for the baby emotional development: holding, handling and object presentation. Holding function, which I will focus on in this work, consists of sustaining, protecting and holding the baby. This feature allows the child psychic integration and the feeling of security and basic trust experience, and it is a spontaneous task of a common devotion mother, as Winnicott says. This concept about the relationship mother-baby dyad, also can be extrapolated to other relationships, such as between the family and the social context in which exists.
