Este trabajo es una invitación a la reflexión sobre el cambio sociocultural que estamos atravesando, por ende, de nuestra clínica y el sufrimiento de los pacientes que nos llegan a consulta diariamente. Como psicoterapeutas psicoanalíticos nos vemos instados a ampliar nuestras perspectivas y afinar nuestra escucha. En la actualidad, el psicoanálisis no está de moda, todo tendría que estar para ayer. Sin tiempo para la reflexión, la espera, el encuentro con el otro. Las nuevas subjetividades nos impelen a profundizar en la teoría y técnica psicoanalítica, e ir un paso más allá, trenzando nuestra práctica, con los cimientos del psicoanálisis y la incertidumbre de lo novedoso.
¿Seremos capaces de bajarnos de nuestro sillón cómodo y seguro, desprendernos de teorías ortodoxas, prejuicios caducos y crear un abordaje adecuado para lo imprevisible de la singularidad de cada uno, especialmente en las organizaciones límite? Se nos plantea, cuando menos, una situación complicada. Por último, serán presentados dos fragmentos clínicos dónde se pondrá de manifiesto la adaptación necesaria, para crear un encuentro. Única forma de posibilitar el despliegue transferencial como vínculo de re-significación y de simbolización, es decir, de cambio psíquico.
This paper is an invitation to a reflection on the socio-cultural change that we are undergoing, and thus, the changes in subjectivity that are taking place, in our clinical work and in the suffering patients bring in to our consulting room, something we experience daily. As psychoanalytic psychotherapists we need to open up our perspectives, tune our listening and take a close look to the uniqueness of those we have to approach. Nowadays, psychoanalysis doesn’t seem to be in fashion, and everything needs to be ready for yesterday. There is little space left for reflection, for delay, for meeting with others, therefore, we feel more alone and empty, lost in the crowd. A question comes up along the text: How can we understand, think, work through the pathologies of our century, and thus accompany patients, without giving up our identity? New subjectivities compel us to study in depth psychoanalytical theory and technique, and give one more step ahead, braiding practice, with the still valid foundations of psychoanalysis and with the uncertainty of novelty.
Are we capable of leaving our comfortable and secure couch, leave aside orthodox theories, outdated prejudices and create a suitable approach for the unpredictable of the uniqueness of each case, specifically in borderline organizations? A complex situation has to be dealt with. Finally, a presentation of two clinical examples is shown, in which a necessary adjustment is needed, in order to create an encounter. This is a necessary path to make possible the unfolding of the transference in a link in which resignification and symbolization can lead to psychic change.
