La docencia es un trabajo complejo que se estudia desde muy diversos enfoques metodológicos. Las decisiones que adopta el investigador cuando intenta entender y explicar un fenómeno tienen siempre consecuencias. Quizá la más importante, cuando se investiga un fenómeno como este, es el nivel de profundidad y complejidad que se intenta alcanzar. Las opciones que permiten recoger y estudiar mejor cómo viven y se explican los protagonistas sus experiencias profesionales son de carácter cualitativo. El uso de esta vía exige una sólida formación teórica y práctica del investigador, el control riguroso de las decisiones metodológicas que se toman y la capacidad para describir de forma precisa el trayecto recorrido en la realización del trabajo. Presentar ese proceso es el objeto de esta comunicación.
Teaching is a complex work that studies from very diverse methodologic approaches. The decisions that the investigator makes when he tries to understand and to explain a phenomenon they always have consequences. Perhaps most important, when a phenomenon is investigated like this, it is the level of depth and complexity that is tried to reach. Options that allows to gather and to study better how they live and the protagonists explain themselves their professional experiences are of qualitative character. The use of this route demands a solid theoretical formation and practical the investigator, the rigorous control of the methodologic decisions that are taken and the capacity to describe of form need the passage crossed in the accomplishment of the work. To present/display that way is the object of this communication.
