Este trabajo aborda el tema de las necesidades educativas y la discapacidad intelectual desde un enfoque sistémico, que relaciona al individuo en sus contextos más amplios, como son la familia y la escuela. Tiene como propuesta ampliar el marco de referencia al trabajar con estos temas y generar hipótesis estructurales del sistema familiar y/o escolar que nos permitan entender de forma más compleja la problemática y sus distintas áreas de abordaje. Se hace una primera exploración con casos que consultan por necesidades educativas en el Centro Universitario de Salud Mental y Servicios Educativos (CUSMSE) de la Universidad Intercontinental y que son atendidos por alumnas del tercer semestre de la maestría en educación especial que ya han integrado a su evaluación el enfoque sistémico.
This paper deals with the topics of educational needs and intellectual disability, as focused from a systemic approach, relating to the individual in their broader contexts, like family and school. It proposes to widen the frame of reference when working with these subjects, and to generate structural hypothesis of the family and/or school systems that allow us to understand in a more complex way the issues and its areas of approach. A first exploration is made through submitted cases seeking to fill educational needs at the Universitary Center of Mental Health and Educational Services (CUSMSE) of the Universidad Intercontinental. Such cases are attended by third-semester students of the Master’s Degree in Special Education, that have already included the systemic approach to their evaluations.
