Se presenta un estudio sobre las experiencias de socialización que sustentan la construcción de la ética personal en seis estudiantes, con atención a las oportunidades de toma de perspectiva sobre situaciones sociales en el proceso de adquisición de la moralidad. Se escogieron dos alumnos de secundaria, dos de bachillerato y dos de licenciatura; cada pareja estuvo formada por un hombre y una mujer. Se realizó una entrevista profunda para conocer el proceso de formación moral, con énfasis en identificar experiencias sociales, personas significativas y valores personales internalizados. Se concluye que la familia constituye el ámbito más relevante para promover el desarrollo moral y que la escuela no representa una experiencia de importancia comparable a la familia.
This paper presents a research about the socialization experiences that support the construction of personal ethics on six students. Special attention was given to the opportunities of perspective taking in social situations that promote the acquisition of morality.
Two secondary students, two from high school and two from professional level were chosen and in the three levels there was a male and female person. A depth interview was conducted in order to explore the process of moralization, pointing out the social experiences, the most relevant persons and personal values internalized.
It concludes that the family is the most important environment to promote students’ moral development and, in contrast, school does not represent an important experience compared to that of the family.
