  Interpretar la “faz de Dios” como una faz del Otro en tanto goce femenino es una de las vías mediante las cuales Lacan aborda la cuestión de Dios. Este artículo propone algunos planteamientos cuyo punto de partida es el uso de la noción de Dios como significante que organiza el goce (S2), y pregunta cómo ubicar a Dios en tanto significante del orden y, a la vez, como goce del Otro.

  One of the paths followed by Lacan to address the issue of God is to interpret the “face of God” as a face of the Other in terms of feminine jouissance. The article sets forth some considerations whose starting point is the use of the notion of God as a signifier that organizes jouissance (S2), and it inquires into how to situate God as signifier of order and, at the same time, as jouissance of the Other.
