We intend to present the results obtained in relation to the participation of the community in the general council within the scope of the current model of Administration and School Management. An investigation supported in the concept of autonomy, within the scope of a theory of the State. A qualitative investigation, where the triangulation of methods and techniques allows to recognize the multiplicity of subjects. The sample consists of 139 representatives of the General Councils of the Grouped Schools (N = 173); 8 directors of school (n = 8). The results allowed us to identify different logics, and models of action capable of (re) configuring the action of the different actors, in the participation in the organ.
Apresentamos os resultados obtidos, da participação da comunidade, no CG. Uma investigação suportada no conceito de autonomia, na teoria do Estado, bem como da democracia participativa, por oposição à representativa. Uma investigação qualitativa, onde a triangulação de métodos e técnicas nos permite reconhecer a multiplicidade de sujeitos. A amostra era constituída por 139 representantes dos Conselhos Gerais de Escolas Agrupadas (N=173); 8 diretores de Agrupamentos de Escola (n=9) e dois representantes políticos do Município. Os resultados obtidos permitiram-nos identificar diferentes lógicas e modelos de ação capazes de (re) configurar a ação dos diferentes atores, na participação no órgão.
