Objeto de debate y alerta social es una conducta de ruptura precoz y un factor de riesgo de la conducta suicida.
According to all studies, self-harming non-suicidal behaviours in the form of scarification are increasing among teenagers. This new expression of discomfort among youngsters, in a key stage of their development, brings us face to face with a phenomenon which takes place at the limit between what is psychic and what is social, favoured by both crisis of boundaries and identity, which are present in the current society. This is a conduct of precocious breaking and a risk factor of suicidal behaviour; therefore, it is a subject of discussion and a cause of social alert.
