El presente artículo intenta reseñar los principales hechos que antecedieron a la creación del Colegio de Psicólogos del Perú en 1980, analizando las condiciones de representatividad académica y profesional que existían en la Sociedad Peruana de Psicología. Igualmente, plantea algunas explicaciones y aclaraciones respecto de las dicotomías intuitivo-objetivo y oral-escrito a propósito de un trabajo presentado en este mismo número por Federico León.
The author tries to present the facts that preceded the law that created- in 1980- the Peruvian Psychological Association, analizing the academical and professional representativity that existed before in the Peruvian Psychological Society. Also some explanations are given about the dicotomies objective-intuitive and spoken-writen in response to a paper from León that appears in this number.
