Os movementos de repulsa social viron reflectida a súa demanda na elaboración dunha normativa específica que trate de resolver, desde varios campos de actuación, a lacra que supón a violencia de xénero no comezo do século XXI. Os esforzos de todos os axentes sociais implicados neste campo de actuación deben ir encamiñados á prevención, a educación en xénero e a resolución xusta do caso concreto cunha minimización do dano e a recuperación da vítima para a vida. A creación dos Equipos de Valoración Forense Integral (EVAFI) da violencia de xénero responde á esixencia normativa. Estas unidades enmárcanse no seo do Instituto de Medicina Legal de Galicia. Integradas polo médico forense, o psicólogo e o traballador social, constitúen a ferramenta que ha de servir ao xulgador para a xusta valoración do dano derivado da violencia de xénero, do clima de violencia que o acompaña e do risco de agresións futuras.
The social repulse movements have seen reflected their demand in the elaboration of an especific rule which would try to solve, from some action areas, the trace wich supposes the domestic violence at the begining of the xxI century. The efforts from all the implicated social agents in this action area must be guide to prevention, the education in gender and the right resolution of the concret case with a minimazation from damage and the victim’s recovery for life. The formation of the overall forensic valoration teams (EVAFI) of domestic violence responds to the legal requirement. These unities are insert in the bosom of the Legal Medicine Institute of Galicia. Composed by the forensic medical, the psicologist and the social worker, they are the tool that will be useful to the judge for the right valoration of damage from domestic violence, from the violence’s climate wich comes with it and from the risk of future aggressions.
