Resumen de Trastornos afetivos/cognitivos associados à tarv e à qualidade de vida no contexto da AIDS

  Objective: to investigate depression, anxiety and mild cognitive disorders in people with HIVAIDS, associated with the use of ART and quality of life. Sample: 561 people from 18 to 59 years with AIDS to the HIVAIDS met in reference services in the State of Paraíba, Brazil. Instruments: scale of anxiety and depression – HAD, the six latest issues of Self Reporting Questionnaire-SRQ -20 the Whoqol-Bref, HIV and a Bio-Clinical and demographic Questionnaire. The data were analyzed from descriptive statistics. Results: there was higher prevalence of depression and anxiety associated with variables as low educational level and income. There was also a statistically significant and negative association between joining the ART with the symptoms of anxiety. Mild cognitive disorders were identified, how to: change in affection and humour, difficulty concentrating and others. It was found that the smaller the depression, anxiety and TCL, higher quality of life.

  Objetivo: investigar depressão, ansiedade e transtornos cognitivos leves em pessoas com HIV/AIDS, associados ao uso da TARV e à Qualidade de Vida. Amostra: 561 pessoas de 18 a 59 anos soropositivas para o HIV/AIDS atendidas nos serviços de referência no Estado da Paraíba, Brasil. Instrumentos: Escala de Ansiedade e Depressão – HAD, as seis últimas questões do Self -Reporting Questionnaire - SRQ -20, o Whoqol-HIV Bref e um Questionário Bio-demográfico e Clínico. Os dados foram analisados a partir de estatística descritiva. Resultados: Verificou-se maior prevalência de depressão e ansiedade associada a variáveis como baixa escolaridade e renda. Observou-se, ainda, uma associação estatisticamente significativa e negativa entre a adesão à TARV com os sintomas de ansiedade. Transtornos cognitivos leves foram identificados, como: mudança na afetividade e no humor, dificuldade de concentração e outros. Verificou-se que quanto menor a depressão, ansiedade e TCL, maior a Qualidade de Vida.
