La variedad de retos, problemas y desafíos a los que se enfrenta hoy la situación del matrimonio y la familia es tan amplia, diversa y compleja, y la coyuntura histórica parece ser tan irreversible, que se hace difícil liderar una acción evangelizadora adecuada y eficaz, capaz de hacer frente a esta situación. Se impone, por tanto, un esfuerzo no solo aplicativo y pastoral, es decir, en el orden de la acción, sino también teológico y doctrinal, es decir, que vaya al fundamento y a las causas de los problemas. Urge, por tanto, recuperar el método teológico-pastoral que san Juan Pablo II desarrolló en sus Catequesis sobre Teología del cuerpo, con ocasión del anterior Sínodo de la familia, celebrado en el año 1981. El artículo intenta abordar esos numerosos retos y desafíos, no abordando directamente los síntomas o la casuística sino intentando ir a las raíces más profundas de todos ellos. Para ello, la autora se detiene a considerar brevemente cinco temas radicales que están en el origen de muchos de esos problemas, retos y desafíos.
The variety of challenges and problems facing marriage and family today is so broad, diverse and complex, that it appears to be irreversible. It becomes increasingly difficult to lead evangelizing actions properly and effectively capable of dealing with these situations. It therefore imposes, not only to apply a pastoral effort, i.e. in the order of action, but also theological and doctrinal that goes to the root causes of the problems. It urges to recover a pastoral method Saint John Paul II developed in his catechesis on Theology of the Body, during the previous Synod of the family, held in 1981. The article attempts to address these many issues and challenges, not by directly addressing the symptoms or causes, but by trying to go to the deepest roots of all of them. To do this, the author stops to consider briefly five radical issues that are at the origin of many of these problems and challenges.
