En un avance de investigación realizada en una institución médica con pacientes ambulatorias diagnosticadas con Síndrome de Ovario Poliquístico, a las cuales se les atendió –paralelamente al tratamiento médicomediant un dispositivo de intervención sustentado en el psicoanálisis. Mediante el análisis de los hallazgos de dicha investigación, se muestra a partir de la fabricación de un caso, que los cambios en la imagen generados a partir de este trastorno dan lugar a una reactualización, a una nachträglich, sobre aspectos que en un primer momento ya habían sido motivo de conflicto, constituyéndose a manera de síntoma que evidencia que estos malestares que modifican al cuerpo en su imagen y en su funcionamiento no se deben sólo a las alteraciones hormonales, sino que son también efecto de un conflicto psíquico gestado con anterioridad y que tiene resonancia en aristas estrechamente relacionadas con la feminidad.
In this article we aim to present the advance of the research elaborated in health institution in Mexico with ambulatories patients diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), who were attended medically and with a clinical device based in a psychoanalytic theory. During the analysis of the clinical sessions, we attempt to articulate this investigation with a construction of a case, the updated significant, a nachträglich, of the corporal changes caused by Polycystic ovary syndrome, are analyzed by knowing that have been a first moment configuration of identity, that has been complex and very conflictive, and builted a symptom that evidence that this disease that change the body image and function shouldn't been just hormonal disorder, but also by the effect of a psyche conflict, developed in the past and have a resonance in the edge of the femininity constitution.
