Se presentan aquí, por una parte, los fundamentos teóricos, metodológicos y éticos que dan origen a nuevas posiciones de actuación del psicólogo del trabajo en el área de la salud. Se analiza el proceso de formación, dentro del ámbito de las prácticas profesionales, orientado al diagnóstico y la intervención en el terreno de los padecimientos de naturaleza relacional y de efectos individuales y colectivos. Se extraen algunos de los denominados ‘obstáculos’ emergentes de la experiencia docente e investigadora y que pueden ser reconocidos como la visión herramentalista y la perspectiva individualizante de la interpretación, entre otros. Finalmente, se resaltan once características de esta orientación a la intervención, que exceden a la perspectiva funcionalista y su puesta en relación entre las necesidades de la organización y las del trabajador.
On one hand, we present the theoretical, methodological and ethical foundations that give rise to new positions of action for the labor psychologist in the health area. We analyze the formation process, within the scope of professional practices, oriented to the diagnosis and intervention in the field of sufferings of relational nature and individual and collective effects. We extract some of the denominated ‘obstacles’ that emerge from the teaching and investigating experience, and that can be recognized as a tool-oriented vision and an individualizing perspective of the interpretation, among others. Finally, we highlight eleven characteristics of this orientation to intervention, that exceed the functional perspective and the putting in relation between the organization’s and the worker’s needs.
