En la comunidad analítica se ha trabajado la función del síntoma en la construcción del lazo social.
El tema central del presente artículo pretende abrir la reflexión en torno al aporte de Lacan en los últimos años de su enseñanza, con respecto a la función del sinthome en la lógica colectiva. Después de un breve recorrido histórico, se analiza la dimensión de real que introduce la solución de Joyce, su sinthome, y los efectos que esta puede tener en la construcción de lo colectivo.
Es un ejemplo, entre otros, de lo que Lacan llama la República, y que algún día le gustaría ver surgir entre los analistas.
In the analytical community, a symptom�s function in the construction of the social link has been intensely studied. The main idea of this article is to try to initiate a reflection about the contribution made by Lacan, during the last years he taught, regarding the function of the sinthome in the collective logic.
After a brief historic introduction, I approach the dimension of the real that Joyce�s solution introduces, his sinthome, and the effects these can have on the construction of the collective. It is one example among many that Lacan called the Republic, which he would have liked to see emerge in the analytical community.
