El presente trabajo tiene por finalidad indagar la función del síntoma en la estructura subjetiva, con los aparatos conceptuales de los discursos y el nudo borromeo propuestos por Lacan. Partiendo del lugar central, descubierto por Freud, de la nominación paterna en dicha función, se recorrerá la mutación introducida en la estructura discursiva por el discurso del capitalismo y sus consecuencias en la función del síntoma en el presente, para llegar, finalmente, a la prevalencia actual de lo social en las nominaciones propias de la época. Posteriormente se indagará la incidencia del discurso analítico en dichas nominaciones en un caso clínico.
This article aims to investigate a symptom�s function in the subjective structure, using the conceptual apparatuses of discourse and the Borromean rings proposed by Lacan. Starting from the central role, discovered by Freud, of the father�s nomination in that function, we will cover the mutation that capitalist discourse introduces into the discursive structure and its consequences on the symptoms� function today, eventually arriving at the current prevalence of the social in contemporary nominations.
Lastly, we will investigate the impact of analytic discourse on such nominations in one clinical case.
