One of the greatest contributions of the anthropology to the field of education is the possibility to deepen the comprehension of cultural manifestations present in human formation. Nowadays, in the globalized world, what one can observe is not the predominance of some cultures and the elimination of others, but the reconstruction of each culture. Cultures influence and are influenced, being complete cultural separation practically impossible. In this study, one of the goals is to determine the importance of the concept of culture (GEERTZ, 1978), the concept of projects (VELHO, 1994) and the relevance of ethnical-racial relations on teachers. formation for the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Modality of Youth and Adult Education (PROEJA).
Entende-se que uma das grandes contribuições da antropologia para o campo da educação é a possibilidade de compreender as manifestações da(s) cultura(s) na formação humana. Hodiernamente, no mundo globalizado, o que se percebe não é a preponderância de algumas culturas e a eliminação de outras, mas a reconstrução de cada uma delas. As culturas influenciam e são influenciadas, sendo o isolamento cultural completo praticamente impossível. No presente estudo, buscar-se-á articular a importância do conceito de cultura (GEERTZ, 1978), do conceito de projetos (VELHO, 1994) e das relações étnicorraciais na formação de professores para o Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na Modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos (PROEJA).
