La comunicación médico-paciente es una importante variable del proceso sanitario que afectará, entre otras, al grado de satisfacción del usuario con la atención recibida y a la adherencia al tratamiento prescrito. Con el objeto de conocer el grado de esta comunicación, se administró una encuesta oral a un grupo de 100 sujetos voluntarios de ambos sexos y diversas edades y niveles culturales inmediatamente después de la consulta médica en un ambulatorio de la red sanitaria. Se presentan y analizan los resultados, extrayendo las correspondientes implicaciones clínicas.
Physician-patient communication is an essential factor in the sanitary process. In fact, it directly affects both the patient's degree of satisfaction with the attention received and his/her adherence to the administered treatment. Thus, in order to asses the degree of the above-mentioned communication, a sample of a hundred volunteers from both sexes and different ages and cultural backgrounds, was submitted to an oral interview immediately after receiving medical attention at a clinic belonging to the National Sanitary network. The results from this inquiry are presented and analysed and suitable clinical implications are made.
