En el presente trabajo se plantean las dificultades que conlleva la interacción entre turistas y residentes, destacando entre ellas su naturaleza intercultural. Junto a lo anterior, otros aspectos que tienden a separar a turistas y residentes son el desequilibrio de la relación, su brevedad, no repetitividad y las actitudes de los residentes hacia el desarrollo del turismo en su comunidad.
This work considers the obstacles that the interaction between tourist-residents interaction involve. In this sense, is especially important the intercultural nature of the interaction. Another important aspects that separate to tourists and residents are to be asymmetrical, transitory, non repetitive and the attitudes of residents towards tourism in their community.
