El artículo analiza la integración del Monitoreo, Evaluación y Aprendizaje (MEL) en intervenciones de violencias basadas en género (VBG) en contextos de crisis humanitaria en Colombia. Se enfatiza la importancia de adoptar sistemas MEL para medir, documentar y aprender de los resultados de estas intervenciones, promoviendo la rendición de cuentas y el aprendizaje continuo. En la presente investigación se detallan los principales componentes de un sistema de este tipo, incluyendo planes de monitoreo, indicadores, teorías del cambio y sistemas de información y gestión de datos. También se reportan resultados de la implementación de dichos sistemas en colaboración con organizaciones internacionales, destacando el impacto en comunidades afectadas por crisis migratorias y conflictos armados. El análisis resalta la necesidad de abordar la diversidad de género, promover la equidad y garantizar la sostenibilidad de las intervenciones.
The article analyzes the integration of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) in Gender-Based Violence (GBV) interventions in humanitarian crisis contexts in Colombia. It emphasizes the importance of adopting MEL systems to measure, document and learn from the results of these interventions, promoting accountability and continuous learning. This research details the main components of a MEL system, including monitoring plans, indicators, theories of change, and information and data management systems. It also reports results from the implementation of these systems in collaboration with international organizations, highlighting the impact on communities affected by migration crises and armed conflict. The analysis highlights the need to address gender diversity, promote equity and ensure sustainability of interventions.
