La experiencia de buscar refugio y exilio para salvar su vida, para huir de la persecución, de la marginación social y económica, tuvo, y todavía tiene, enormes consecuencias para las familias que huyeron del nuevo régimen de los militares sublevados. Marcharse al exilio no fue un viaje voluntario de placer y aventuras. Buscar refugio no fue exento de adversidades y no siempre fueron bien atendidos en los lugares de destino. Años después, muchas heridas están por cicatrizar, y los ancestros tienen presencia a través de los descendientes.
The experience of seeking refuge and exile to save their lives, to escape persecution, social and economic marginalisation, had, and still has, enormous consequences for the families who fled the new regime of the rebellious military. Going into exile was not a voluntary journey of pleasure and adventure. Looking for refuge was not exempt from adversities, and they were not always well attended to in the destination places. Years later, many wounds are to heal, and the ancestors are present through the descendants.
