En este articulo a partir de las biografías y escritos del líder anarquista Enrique de Guzmán y la heroína comunista Matilde Landa se trata de describir los suicidios de los derrotados en la guerra civil española en los distintos espacios represivos donde vivían: el Puerto de Alicante, los campos de concentración, las comisarias, los juzgados y las cárceles.
