En Blow Up, Antonioni construye un universo visual donde la Ley se suspende y la dicotomía entre lo urbano y lo natural se convierte en un escenario de confrontación simbólica, configurando un espacio de tensión entre el orden y el caos. A través de un análisis textual de secuencias clave, exploramos la figura del mimo como un mediador entre estos dos polos, encarnando la dualidad característica de los bufones y los tricksters. Además, proponemos que la película, al tiempo que cuestiona la noción de realidad objetiva, busca rescatar un sentido de lo simbólico y lo mítico, ofreciendo una forma de conocimiento que trasciende lo racional.
In Blow Up, Antonioni constructs a visual universe where the Law is suspended and the dichotomy between the urban and the natural becomes a scene of symbolic confrontation, configuring a space of tension between order and chaos. Through a textual analysis of key sequences, we explore the figure of the mime as a mediator between these two poles, embodying the duality characteristic of jesters and tricksters. Furthermore, we propose that the film, while questioning the notion of objective reality, seeks to rescue a sense of the symbolic and the mythic, offering a form of knowledge that transcends the rational.
