Según datos del INE, en 2021, entre las edades de diez y catorce años el suicidio creció un 134%. En 2022 aumentó el suicidio en adolescentes entre 15 y 19 años. ¿Es únicamente culpa, como dicen los psiquiatras, de una nueva situación ambiental creada por las redes sociales o de situaciones de acoso sufridas en el colegio? Más allá de múltiples factores implicados, en el presente trabajo abordamos como la autoridad paterna no minimizada, que emana de un padre temido y amado, fundante de la instancia psíquica que impone la renuncia y garante de la interacción salvífica con el menor, frente a los predadores de nuestros días, al verse debilitada y muchas veces ausente, aboca a éste a caer en conductas autolíticas
According to INE data, in 2021, between the ages of ten and fourteen, suicide increased by 134%. In 2022, suicide increased in adolescents between 15 and 19 years of age. Is it only the fault, as psychiatrists say, of a new environmental situation created by social networks or of bullying situations suffered at school? Beyond the multiple factors involved, in this paper we address how the non-minimised paternal authority, which emanates from a feared and loved father, founder of the psychic instance that imposes renunciation, is also the guarantor of the salvific interaction with the child, in the face of the predators of our times. When this is weakened and often absent, it leads the child to fall into self-harming behaviour.
