La investigación analiza los factores que dificultan la inserción del venezolano en el sistema chileno y los aportes al desarrollo académico. La metodología es de tipo descriptivo documental con diseño bibliográfico, basado en la revisión de artículos arbitrados. El resultado indica que la inserción se rige principalmente por los factores de regularización legal, requerimiento de un rol tributario y la reválida del título profesional. Se concluye que el aporte al desarrollo académico se evidencia en docencia, la cubierta de vacíos laborales en el mercado, publicación de artículos en revistas científicas, los aportes tributarios al fisco y a la economía chilena.
The research analyzes the factors that hinder the insertion of the Venezuelan in the Chilean system and the contributions to academic development. The methodology is of a descriptive documentary type with a bibliographic design, based on the review of refereed articles. The result indicates that the insertion is governed mainly by the factors of legal regularization, requirement of a tax roll and the revalidation of the professional title. It is concluded that the contribution to academic development is evidenced in teaching, the coverage of labor gaps in the market, publication of articles in scientific journals, tax contributions to the treasury and the Chilean economy
