El artículo constituye una reseña del estado del arte involucrado en la investigación, el propósito de comprender las representaciones sociales en el desarrollo de las competencias ciudadanas desde la práctica pedagógica en la educación básica secundaria del Instituto Técnico Alejandro Gutiérrez Calderón municipio Cúcuta. El desarrollo de la investigación se soportó desde un enfoque cualitativo, para ello se tomaron como categorías los ámbitos de los estándares de Competencias Ciudadanas formulados por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional: Convivencia y paz, Participación y responsabilidad democrática, Pluralidad, identidad y valoración de las diferencias.
The article provides an overview of the state of the art involved in the research, with the aim of understanding social representations in the development of citizenship skills from the pedagogical practice in basic secondary education at the Alejandro Gutiérrez Calderón Technical Institute in the municipality of Cúcuta. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach, based on the categories of the civic competence standards formulated by the Ministry of National Education: Coexistence and peace, Participation and democratic responsibility, Plurality, identity, and appreciation of differences.
