The research aimed to determine the effect of a family integration program on the participation of parents and guardians of Primary Education. This study was carried out at the Bolivarian School “Monte Verde” in the Mara School District, Zulia State, based on the theories of Álvarez (2005), Palacio (2002), among others. The type of research was experimental, field-based, and explanatory, with a pre-experimental design. The population consisted of 25 parents and guardians from the Primary Education subsystem. For data collection, a questionnaire designed by the author of this research was used, containing twenty-five (25) dichotomous items. The results obtained before and after applying the program — which was validated by three experts and had reliability measured using the Kuder-Richardson index (KR-20) with a result of 0.88 — were analyzed using descriptive statistics through measures of central tendency. The results showed an increase in the participation of parents and guardians, a difference that can be attributed to the effect of the program and not to other factors, making it possible to accept the hypothesis: if a family integration program is applied to parents and guardians of Primary Education, then participation in activities will increase.
