La familia es el núcleo esencial de la sociedad, donde se transmiten valores, se forman vínculos afectivos y se sientan las bases del desarrollo personal y social. Así, es importante investigar cómo se desarrollan las prácticas parentales en madres casadas, ya que estos aspectos tienen un rol esencial en la dinámica familiar y en el bienestar de los jóvenes. Este estudio, de enfoque cuantitativo, transversal, explicativo y descriptivo, empleó instrumentos como el APQ, la escala PACS y una escala breve para padres. Los resultados indican que estas madres tienden a ejercer estilos de crianza positivos, influenciados por la calidad de la comunicación familiar y del vínculo conyugal. Estos factores favorecen un ambiente emocionalmente saludable para los adolescentes. No obstante, persisten desafíos como la baja supervisión y la disciplina inconsistente. Así, se destaca la importancia de promover una parentalidad basada en el afecto, el diálogo y la corresponsabilidad.
Family constitutes the fundamental core of society, serving as the primary context for the transmission of values, the formation of emotional bonds, and the foundation of personal and social development. In this regard, examining parenting practices among married mothers is crucial, as these factors play a significant role in family dynamics and in the well-being of adolescents. This study adopts a quantitative, cross-sectional, explanatory, and descriptive design, employing instruments such as the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire (APQ), the Parent-Adolescent Communication Scale (PACS), and a brief parenting scale. Findings indicate that married mothers tend to adopt positive parenting styles, which are strongly influenced by the quality of family communication and the marital relationship. These elements foster an emotionally supportive environment for adolescents. Nonetheless, persistent challenges such as low parental supervision and inconsistent discipline remain.
