Abstract In this article, we discuss the infantile anal economy and the emergence of the effects of its repression in adult life. Money and obsessive traits are analyzed based on Freudian texts, distinguishing feces as an exchange material and a significant place. With Lacan, we highlight the excremental object a, symbolizing castration and causing desire. Under the themes of Organic Repression, fixation, and regression, we analyzed the destinies of anal pleasure and how it manifests in culture through sublimation. Art will be emphasized, from the perspective of Surrealism, pointing to psychoanalysis as a pioneer in paying attention to remnants and what they reveal about the unconscious.
Resumo Neste artigo, tratamos da economia anal infantil e o aparecimento dos efeitos de seu recalque na vida adulta. Dinheiro e traços obsessivos são analisados a partir do texto freudiano, distinguindo as fezes como material de troca e lugar significante. Com Lacan, destacamos o objeto a excrementício, simbolizador da castração e causa de desejo. Sob os temas recalque orgânico, fixação e regressão, analisamos os destinos do prazer anal e como ele se dá na cultura através da sublimação. A arte será salientada, desde o Surrealismo, apontando para a psicanálise como pioneira na atenção aos restos e o que eles noticiam do inconsciente.
