Abstract The author uses fragments of a clinical case to weave her considerations about the practice of clinical psychoanalysis, or better saying, the phenomenon of repetition and it’s relation to transference, the unconscious and drive. Be it by means of the signifying chain’s demands for meaning or at the encounter with the real (object a), repetition is a foiled attempt at the experience of satisfaction and the mark which it left (unary trait). The object a and the S1 (master signifiers) will determine our subjective position as subjects making the choice and the sex choice at the encounter with the real its self (object a).
Resumo Através de fragmentos de caso clínico, a autora tece considerações sobre um dos impasses na clínica psicanalítica, isto é, a repetição e sua relação com a transferência, com o inconsciente e com a pulsão. Quer seja através da cadeia significante pedindo significação, quer seja no encontro com o real (objeto a), a repetição é uma tentativa malograda de repetir a experiência de satisfação e a marca deixada por ela (traço unário). O objeto a e os S1 vão determinar nossa posição subjetiva de sujeito na escolha da neurose, na escolha de objeto e na escolha de sexo no encontro com o real (objeto a).
