Abstract The objective is to carry out a reading of the relationship between the subject and his (un) loving ties. Seeking to reflect to what extent some relationships are configured by the bias of violence, it starts with a theoretical investigation of a psychoanalytic nature based on Freud, to understand what leads some subjects to manifest hostility and violence behaviors within their love partnerships, even that say there is something of the order of love. It is noted that, although love and hate are known as opposites, there is a fine line that points to a possible way out of the subject in the face of anguish.
Resumo Objetiva-se realizar uma leitura da relação entre o sujeito e seus laços (des)amorosos. Buscando refletir em que medida algumas relações se configuram pelo viés da violência, parte-se de uma investigação teórica de cunho psicanalítico com base em Freud, para compreender o que leva alguns sujeitos a manifestar comportamentos de hostilidade e violência dentro de suas parcerias amorosas, ainda que digam existir algo da ordem do amor. Nota-se que, embora amor e ódio sejam conhecidos como opostos, o que há é uma linha tênue que aponta para uma saída possível do sujeito frente à angústia.
