Abstract Thinking about the psychoanalysis-cinema relationship, the objective is to present some possible approximations between fantasy, desire, trauma and fiction, through a theoretical investigation. It appears that this relationship would take place precisely in the space of elaboration between what would be possible to conjecture in the face of traumatic encounter with the real. In other words, in the elaboration of what would be the traumatic real in the perspective of a narrative, of fantasy, of a bearable fiction. Therefore, cinema, like fantasy, would be elaborations, in terms of a fictional structure over the real as the impossible to be fully symbolized.
Resumo Pensando a relação psicanálise-cinema, objetiva-se apresentar algumas aproximações possíveis entre fantasia, desejo, trauma e ficção, por meio de uma investigação teórica. Depreende-se que essa relação se daria justamente no espaço de elaboração entre o que seria possível de conjecturar frente ao encontro traumático com o real. Em outras palavras, na elaboração do que seria o real traumático na perspectiva de uma narrativa, da fantasia, de uma ficção suportável. Por consequência, o cinema, assim como a fantasia, seria uma elaboração nos termos de uma estrutura de ficção sobre o real como impossível de ser plenamente simbolizado.
