This article aims to understand the presence of the nature in the social reproduction of a nook of the urban periphery of the city of São Paulo. Therefore, we are methodologically supported by a theoretical discussion with authors who dialogue with the central theme of this text, and for an analysis about of the nature in the peripheral context of the Sol Nascente Residential Set in São Paulo through field work realization. Thereon, we found that even though it is expressive the local natural environment, linked to the biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest, the Sol Nascente has been marked by sundry urban environmental problems that harm the daily of life constituted in neighborhood in question, among them the absence of drainage and treatment of the polluted/stagnant water in the streets of the Residential; becoming necessary and fair the construction of another form of sociability that takes care of the physical/social nature in the reality on screen and in other urban peripheries around the world, with the intention that it be preserved the reproduction of natural/human life in cities.
Este artigo tem o objetivo de compreender a presença da natureza na reprodução social de um recanto da periferia urbana da cidade de São Paulo. Para tanto, nos sustentamos metodologicamente em uma discussão teórica com autores(as) que dialogam com a temática central do presente texto, e por uma análise sobre a natureza no contexto periférico paulistano do Conjunto Residencial Sol Nascente através da realização de um trabalho de campo. Com isso, constatamos que mesmo sendo expressivo o meio natural local, vinculado à biodiversidade da Mata Atlântica, o Sol Nascente tem sido marcado por vários problemas ambientais urbanos que prejudicam o cotidiano da vida constituída no bairro em questão, dentre eles a ausência de drenagem e tratamento das águas poluídas/empoçadas em ruas do Residencial; tornando-se necessária e justa a construção de uma outra forma de sociabilidade que cuide da natureza física/social na realidade em tela e nas demais periferias urbanas ao redor do mundo, no intento de que seja preservada a reprodução da vida natural/humana nas cidades.
