Este artigo contén, en resumo, a miña intervención no XXIII Congreso Nacional e III Internacional da Sociedad Española de Psicología Clínica ANPIR que tivo lugar na cidade da Coruña os días 18, 19 e 20 de maio de 2023.
O obxectivo que se pretendía con aquel relatorio consistía en axudar a derrubar barreiras de desentendemento entre o mundo tradicional e o científico, sistemas que viviron e viven aínda, desafortunadamente, afastados por anos luz de prexuízos e incomprensións, sexan estas léxicas, semánticas ou doutro tipo, e que están na cerna do recorrente mutuo desprezo entrambas cosmovisións, de aí que moita xente distinga, sendo as mesmas, dous tipos de doenzas: «as que non son de médico» e «as que son de médico».
This article contains, in summary, my speech at the XXIII National and III International Congress of the Spanish Society of Clinical Psychology ANPIR, which took place in the city of A Coruña on May 18, 19 and 20, 2023.
The aim of that report was to help break down barriers of misunderstanding between the traditional world and the scientific world, systems that lived and still live, unfortunately, light-years apart from prejudices and misunderstandings, be they lexical, semantic or otherwise, and which are at the core of the recurring mutual contempt for both worldviews, hence why many people distinguish, being the same, two types of illnesses: “those that are not for a doctor” and “those that are for a doctor”.
