Resumen de Representações, poderes e discursos sobre a amazônia em periódicos acreanos e amazonenses (1940-1960)

  This article aims to present the research path in development in the History doctoral degree program, of the Federal University of Amazon. The main initial objective of the thesis is based on understanding the speeches, power, and representation about/in Amazon through Journals from the Brazilian states of Amazon and Acre, between 1940 and 1960. An exposition of theoretical-methodological paths is carried out until the investigation phase that this research is now. The journals from the State of Acre and Amazonas constitute the primary sources of research, considering that other sources, classified as secondary, were incorporated in the investigation as well, such as the publications of the Historical and Geographical Brazilian Institute, a Brazilian Journal of Geography, speeches by public agents and works published by intellectuals of the time are the sources of this research. This set of sources is under analysis as narratives that reflect representations, powers, and discourses about the Amazon.

  Este artigo busca apresentar os caminhos de uma pesquisa em desenvolvimento no curso de Doutorado do Programa de Pós-Graduação em História, da Universidade Federal do Amazonas. O objetivo inicial da proposta de tese consiste em compreender os discursos, os poderes e as representações sobre/na Amazônia através de periódicos acreanos e amazonenses entre 1940 e 1960. Realiza-se uma exposição dos percursos teórico-metodológicos realizados até a fase de investigação em que se encontra a pesquisa. Os periódicos do estado do Acre e do Amazonas, publicações da Revista do Instituto Histórico e Geográfico Brasileiro, da Revista Brasileira de Geografia, discursos de agentes públicos e obras publicadas por intelectuais da época são as fontes desta pesquisa. Esse conjunto de fontes está em análise como narrativas que reverberaram as representações, os poderes e os discursos sobre a Amazônia.
